Pick Up Pete™ Youth Education Program
The Pick Up Pete™ Youth Education Program introduces children and youth to recycling and environmental responsibility through fun, age-appropriate learning experiences. Using the Pick Up Pete mascot, the program combines stories, activities, visuals, and interactive lessons to help young participants understand the importance of properly disposing of plastic and caring for their community.
Designed to inspire positive habits early, the program encourages participation, curiosity, and teamwork rather than testing pressure. Youth earn recognition as Pete’s Helper, Recycling Ranger, or Planet Protector, reinforcing confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship.
